Unit converters
One box, every unit. Pick what kind of thing you are measuring, type the number and the unit it is in, and read it in all the others. The Imperial · Metric switch sets which side you type from — flip it and the same amount carries across. The dedicated pages below go deeper on the conversions that need a fraction or a density.
Length & fractions
Area & volume
Weight & temperature
Slope, pressure & wire
Tape-fraction trainer
A drawing says 2.6875 in; the tape does not. Type the nearest sixteenth as you
would say it — 2 11/16 — and the page checks it. Ten in a row and
the translation is yours.
A converter and a calculator are different jobs. A converter just re-expresses one number in another unit; a quantity tool takes measurements and works out how much to order. If it is the second you are after, the whole drawer is on the index.
Quantity tools that also convert
These converters re-express a figure in another unit; they are only as right as the number you put in. Where a conversion leans on a material property, such as density, you supply that value — so double-check it against your own source before ordering to it.

Calculators that fit your work — by email, optional
Drop your email and tick the box: at most one short note every two weeks with calculators related to the ones you use — here and on bentright.com and sparkytools.net. One list across the three, one-click out, and nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox.
